My journey to public service
I am running for State Representative because I believe government should be practical, accountable, and focused on the needs of local communities. Good leadership starts with listening. A lifetime of working with people and solving problems has only reinforced that belief. Throughout my career, I've worked in project management, customer service, and live event production. These experiences have taught me that success comes from preparation, accountability, and bringing people together to accomplish a common goal. When something goes wrong, you don't point fingers - you find solutions.
Addressing local needs
I've also seen firsthand the challenges facing working families, seniors living on fixed incomes, and small businesses trying to make ends meet. Like many people in our community, I've experienced economic uncertainty, changing workplaces, and the importance of having leaders who understand everyday concerns. Living in this community has shown me that our neighbors care less about political parties than they do about honesty, common sense, and getting things done. We want safe communities, strong schools, reasonable taxes, and opportunities for our children and grandchildren.
A vision for our community
I'm running because I believe government works best when representatives listen before they speak, work across party lines, and remember who they serve. I don't have all the answers, but I promise to ask the right questions, to be accessible, and to make decisions based on what's best for the people of Kingston and our district - not what's best for a political party. Together, we can build a stronger, more vibrant community for everyone.
